Actor Trisha looked every inch the diva she is at the press meet to mark her next release Mohini.
Resplendant in a black and red ensemble, she sent the photographers into a tizzy with the unique photo op at the event. Interacting with the  media she seemed both excited and at ease at the release of her film this week.
Produced by Prince Pictures the movie is releasing on July 27th and is directed by R Madhesh.

A visibly excited Trisha said, "This is my first dual role. I play Vaishnavi and Mohini in the film which is a horror thriller. Around 85 percent of the film has been shot in London. Producer Lalshman has gone out of his way to give a good product."
She added that the film had been accorded a U from censors and families could go and enjoy watching it. Trisha admitted that horror is a genre she enjoys watching herself.

“Mohini will not be a routine horror film, but with some scientific justifications involved” said director Madhesh

The Sunday evening turned to be much memorable one for the entire team of  Mohini. The entire team was present for the media interaction where they revealed some interesting facts about the movie.

The film as reported earlier, is a supernatural thriller laced with entertainment elements for the family audiences. Nevertheless, actress Trisha confirms that it is not going to be routine horror movie, but something with a difference. Furthermore, director Madhesh affirms that the film isn’t laced with supernatural ingredients, just meant to j scare the people with terrifying moments. But it is based on an epigenetic concept that will have logic behind the drama.

Briefing about the pre-production phase, producer S Lakshman of Prince Pictures said, “We had been to Chotanikkara, a place in Kerala, where real exorcisms happen. A 15-yr old girl was so normal until the Kuruthi Pooja began and she suddenly erupted into uncontrollable exploding, where even 8-9 strong men couldn’t control her. We were appalled witnessing this situation and we were frozen in shock even after moving out of that place. Such has been our involvement in the pre-production phase.” The producer also admitted that lots of efforts have been emphasized upon the post-production works involving top-notch CG works.

While speaking about Trisha, director Madhesh said, “Trisha could have easily ruled out this offer as she has a good market with commercial roles. But she came forward taking up this project and has performed risky stunts without dupes. Her involvement in the film has been great and has contributed a lot to the film’s best output.”

The highlight of the event was Trisha being given a title by press and media as ‘Markandeyi’, which means  ' ever youthful' heroine of Tamil cinema.

The actor's difficult stunts in the film were apparently more strenuous than anything she has attempted before.
The film also stars Bollywood actor Jacky Bhagnani and comedian Yogi Babu.
