Both have got mild symptoms. The actor tweeted, " Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you. 🙏🏽 This is indeed troubling news for friends and fans of the family. He added that the Brihan Mumbai Corporation ( BMC) had been informed. Bachchan senior has been admitted in Nanavati hospital in Mumbai. He had announced on Twitter that his family is undergoing tests as well. We wish the duo a speedy recovery!

All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested ! Shri Bachchan has reportedly been hospitalised at Mumbai's Nanavati hospital. According to media reports, the star  had complained of mild breathlessness over the past few days. His test results came in today.
