Zee5 announced today that the much-awaited Santhanam-starrer Dikkiloona would be its next release. The laugh riot, which has been directed by debut director Karthik Yogi and which has been jointly produced by KJR Studios and Soldiers' Factory, will feature Santhanam in three different roles.  Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh has also played an important role. A whopping 15 million people watched the trailer as soon as it released, earning it the distinction of being the most watched trailer among all of Santhanam's films. Talking about the film, director Karthik Yogi says, "Dikkiloona is a sci-fi fantasy entertainer that revolves around the concept of time travel. Santhanam plays  a character that is forced to travel to the future to stop his wedding. Does he succeed in stopping it is what the film is all about." R.K.Entertainment C.Ramesh Kumar produces and R.Srinivasa Rao directs, the film which aims to showcase another dimension of Santhanam's acting,  as it revolves around a  Father - Son sentiment, with a political twist.    The film is being shot in Kumbakonam. Some sequences in will be in Trichy, Srirangam and Chennai. The director Srinivasa Rao has already worked as assistant director to Arivazhagan and has directed many ad films. When Srinivasa Rao spoke about this film, "Actor Santhanam has best fit into this story. Though it has humour  underlying it, the sentimental sequences between the father and son character will make the audience relate to the scenes with their own  real life events.  By Rinku Gupta Actor Santhanam's "Biscoth"  is all set to  release this Diwali. The actor  has played 3 roles, spanning 3 eras, from the 18th century, the 1980's and 2020. The film is  directed by R. Kannan . Out of the 3 roles, one is of a  Rajput, of nearly 30 minutes of the film, shot in Ramojirao Film City.  Santhanam has learnt  Kalari for few scenes. Tara  Alisha Perri , female lead of A1 and Miss Karnataka title winner  Swathi Mubbaala  are the female leads. Sowcar Janaki,   Anandraj, Mottai Rajendran, Sivashankar, Lollu Sabha Fame Manohar are part of the cast. The film is being released by Trident Arts. The film is named 'Biscoth' after a biscuit factory which has played an important role in the film . Kannan claims that this movie is going be a game changer in Santhanam’s career just like 'Imsai Arasan' was for  comedian Vadivelu.
