 Director Liju Krishna's Nivin Pauly, Aditi Balan starrer Padavettu ( Malayalam) released in Tamil in theatres on Oct 28th. The protagonist Ravi ( Nivin Pauly) lives in Maloor village  with his aunt Pushpa. He was once an athlete but after an injury, has made his a sour and brooding, jobless person. He harbours feelings for Shyma (Aditi Balan) a recent divorcee. Things rapidly change in the village with the entry of Kuyyali ( Shammi Thilakan in a brilliant act) and his political party, who repair Pushpa's dilapidated home as a freebie and from then on,  slowly establish a political foothold into the lives of the farmers and start manipulating them on a large scale.  Things begin to get out of hand and the carefree Ravi is soon forced to rekindle his fighting spirit and take on the greedy politician affecting his life and his people,  and stop him in his tracks. Following the grand success of Maanadu, producer Suresh Kamatchi of V House Productions is now producing a colossal film  tentatively titled Production No.7.   Nivin Pauly starrer Kanakam Kaamini Kalaham to be the first Malayalam movie to have  World Premiere on Disney + Hotstar Disney+ Hotstar, one of India's largest premium streaming platforms is all set to kickstart its Malayalam movie releases. Kanakam Kaamini Kalaham (Ka Kaa Ka), written and directed by Ratheesh Balakrishna Pothuval and starring Nivin Pauly, Grace Antony and Vinay Fort in the lead roles, is the first Malayalam film to be released through the platform. The Film is produced by Nivin Pauly’s production house, Pauly Jr. Pictures. Ratheesh Balakrishna Pothuval is also the director who won the Best Debut Director award for his debut film Android Kunjappan.   The   poster of the film was released on social media on October 15th . By Rinku Gupta  After the success of Action Hero Biju and 1983, Mollywood's Nivin Pauly and Abrid Shine join hands to team up for a new movie titled Mahaveeryar. The shooting of the film kicked-off in Rajasthan. The film has an ensemble cast including Kannada actor Shanvi Srivastava in the lead role. The movie also has Lal, Siddique, Vijay Menon, Krishna Prasad, Major Ravi, Ashwin Kumar, Suraj S Kurup, Sudheer Paravoor and Banumathi. The story is written by well-known Malayalam author M Mukundan.  The movie also will see actor Asif Ali joining hands with Nivin. The film is produced by Nivin Pauly under the banner of Pauly Jr Pictures and co-producer by Shamnas under the banner of Indian Movie Makers.  Chandramohan Selvaraj rolls the camera, while Ishan Chabra composes the music. The main locations are Jaipur, Udaipur, Mumbai and Kochi.

In a chat, the laid back, tall, rugged and good-looking actor   Raj Bharat , talks about his film   and future plans. What is your role in Andhra   Mess? I play a guy called Rathna who is kind of a split personality. He’s a rugged yet emotional character. He’s a toughie on the outside but soft hearted. He loves his mom but is angry at his father from childhood due to an incident. The audio launch of Mollywood hearththrob, the Premam hero NivinPauly's straight  Tamil debut was held today.        Photos courtesy : Rinku Gupta The occasion was graced by the cast and crew of the film which is directed by Gautam Ramachandran. The 2 heroines, Vikram Vedha girl Shraddha Srinath and Lakshmi Priya Chandramouli were seen exchanging warm pleasantaries. Nivin Pauly lit the kuthuvilakku and was seen in the company of  the supporting actors G K Reddy ( actor Vishal's father), Tulasi and Murgados. Natraj Subramaniam the other hero in the film was not present. In his speech Nivin said he was looking forward to his stint in Tamil cinema.
