Rana Daggubati, Vishnu Vishal's Kaadan inspired by Forest Man of India

By Rinku Gupta The story line of Prabhu Solomon's Kaadan has been inspired by the unfortunate event of humans encroaching the elephant corridors in Kaziranga, Assam. The films in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, trace the narrative of a man, the role essayed by Rana Daggubati, who dedicated most of his life living in the jungle with the sole purpose of protecting the animals inhabiting it and how he becomes a pivotal part of the conflict. Inspired by the story of The Forest Man of India, Jadhav Molai Payeng, who spent his life on the banks of the Bramhaputra river, protecting elephants and turning the area into a dense forest is what Eros International's tri- lingual Kaadan( Tamil) is based on. The film stars Rana Daggubati in the lead, in all three languages, with Vishnu Vishal in the Tamil and Telugu ( Aranya) version.
