By Rinku Gupta The story line of Prabhu Solomon's Kaadan has   been inspired by the unfortunate event of humans encroaching the elephant corridors in Kaziranga, Assam. The films in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, trace the narrative of a man, the role essayed by Rana Daggubati, who dedicated most of his life living in the jungle with the sole purpose of protecting the animals inhabiting it and how he becomes a pivotal part of the conflict. Inspired by the story of The Forest Man of India, Jadhav Molai Payeng, who spent his life on the banks of the Bramhaputra river, protecting elephants and turning the area into a dense forest is what Eros International's tri- lingual Kaadan( Tamil) is based on. The film stars Rana Daggubati in the lead, in all three languages, with Vishnu Vishal in the Tamil and Telugu ( Aranya) version. The daughter of ace director Priyadarshan and actor, model, entrepreneur Lissy Lakshmi, debuted to rave reviews, in her parents' home turf, Malyalam cinema, recently with Dulquer Salmaan, in Varane Avashyamund. She is part of a film opposite Pranav Mohanlal as well. Now, the talented mom - daughter duo, Lissy and Kalyani and have come together for a prestigious sari ad of leading apparel chain Pothys. The beautiful ad which shows some heartwarming moments between mother and daughter, is directed by none other than D40 director Karthik Subbaraj!
