DHONI, CRICKET, KABADI COME TOGETHER IN DHONI KABADI KUZHU

by Rinku Gupta A love for films and sports bind people beyond boundaries in our country.  ‘Dhoni Kabadi Kuzhu’ is one such movie which brings together not one but two sports making a deadly combination indeed. Today, as a tribute to the star cricketer, on Dhoni' birthday the team released the first look poster of the title logo The film features Abhilash in the lead role as a kabadi player. He shot to fame as a child artist through the TV series ‘My Dear Bhootham’.  Recently, his performance as an antagonist in ‘Nagesh Thiraiarangam’ got him a good response  Sharing his experience working in this film Abhilash says, “The title ‘Dhoni Kabadi Kuzhu’ itself reveals the story. In our Tamil industry, it is has been proven time and again that a good story is the hero. Obviously,  our film’s major strength is the story. FROM MALAYSIA,WITH LOVE, COMES VEDDIGUNDDU PASANGA

by Rinku Gupta Its not often that a Tamil film made in Malaysia hits the screens here. So the audio launch of Vediggunddu Pasangge, held in Chennai was a special occasion. The event was graced by several celebrities from tinsel town, including Nadigar Sangam President, Nasser and ace director Bhagyaraj amongst others. The lead pair of Denes Kumar and Sangeetha were present and all smiles. The film is directed by leading Malaysian Tamil  actor Denes's wife, Dr Vimala Perumal. The story is touted to centre around the criminal activity of chain snatching and the film is the third in  the series after  Vilayaata Pasanga and Vetti Pasanga. The social mesage the director is trying to put across has been laced with ample commercial elements of comedy, romance and action, to keep audiences entertained. The film is being released in India by  Janani K Balu who was also present at the event. Ace Kollywood choreographer Kadhal Kandhas has worked on the dances. "One
