Movie Review: Hit - The Third Case

 Arjun Sarkar (Nani) is the new in charge of Homicide Intervention Team ( HIT) at Vishakapatnam. Just when a whiff of romance comes into his life with Mridula ( Srinidhi Shetty), he and his team are hot on the heels of a vital,  gory case of serial killings across the country.  Who are the evil forces behind the gruesome murders? What happens to Arjun and his team when they risk their lives to solve this case? Nani delivers yet another solid performance as the temperamental cop with a brilliant mind.  Srinidhi is the perfect romantic foil who uplifts his being with her presence.  The highlight of the film are the superbly choreographed stumt sequences. Nani excels in every action block be it mortal combat, guns, swords or knives.  Paarivel (Suriya), the adopted son of a don (Joju George) has no reason to smile especially after his adoptive mother's death. His father holds no affection for him,  but only values his contribution to criminal activities. When Paari meets Rukmani ( Pooja Hegde), a kind soul who spurns violence, he finally wants to reform and give up his violent life.  But fate has other things in store and his past catches up with him on his wedding day, leading to a break up between the duo.  A shattered Paari finds himself in jail and pushed back to a life of violence  until one day he finds his lost love again.
