Aha Tamil and Magizh Mandram have announced the title of their upcoming film as "RathaSaatchi" . The short story "Kaithigal" is the work of Mr. Jeyamohan, the well-known writer of films like "Ponniyin Selvan" and "Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu." According to Jeyamohan, the story behind the making of Rathasaatchi deserves to be the subject of another movie… “A director named Rafiq Ismail approached me and asked permission to film the Kaithigal. Within three months of time Ace director Mani Ratnam considered adapting this story for the screen and later renowned director Mr.Vetrimaran approached me to acquire the rights to the story, and I informed them that the story had already been given to Rafiq” The film is directed by Rafiq Ismail, the music is composed by Mr. Javed Riaz, and the cinematography is by Mr. Jagadheesh Ravi.
