 ACP Arvindh  ( Vidaarth) is an upright cop in Kovai. His wife ( Swetha Dorothy) suffers from agarophobia so he has taken a house outside the city bustle for her sake.  One night a psycho killer is on the loose and the entire force including  Arvindh is on the lookout for him.  In the meanwhile the kingpin of spurious liquor racket caught by Arvindh, escapes from lock-up. As cops are hot on the chase, an incident takes place which frightens Arvindh's wife alone at home.  Who is the killer? What happens when all these incidents pile up and matters reach to a head?  Muthaiya is an electrician residing in a village along with his wife Chellamma and his mother.  They have a tenant, Sunil, a young north Indian boy who works in a local factory.  Muthaiya avoids work and spends his time drinking with a friend. He develops a hatred for Sunil whom his wife is affectionate towards as a younger brother. Spurned by his rich father-in-law when he asks for money to set up a business, Muthaiya gets all the more angry.  His drinking bestie eggs him on and makes him believe that it would be best to murder Sunil, who is doing well in life and being a North Indian has taken up jobs meant for locals. The camera work mostly in the dark  seems to have done its best to portray the dark mood of the film.
