 Mahi Agarwal ( Rajkummar Rao) aspires to be  a cricketer which is good passion since childhood. But his father ( Kumud Sharma), who owns a sports shop in Jaipur, wants him to work in the business when he is not selected in the state team.   Mahi is plagued by insults from his dad Mahi settles in the family business but is not good at it either.  A few years later, he has an arranged match with a doctor, Mahima ( Jahnvi Kapoor), and to his utter surprise discovers that she not only loves cricket. In a series of events, Mahi decides to turn coach for her,  coaxing her to give up her doctor profession. Due to his efforts his wife finally even reaches the state level and finally is chosen to play for India  But  does this rise in her career as a cricketer impact her husband's ego and the hitherto perfect marriage? Does he ever get the respect he craves? The film is based on a sport as its centre but it uses it as  a tool to explore family relati...

பல்வேறு வெற்றி படங்களை தயாரித்த ட்ரீம் வாரியர் பிக்சர்ஸ் நிறுவனம், முழுமையாக ஒரு படத்தினை வாங்கி வெளியிடும் படம் ‘அஞ்சாமை’. இதனை திருச்சித்ரம் சார்பில் டாக்டர் திருநாவுக்கரசு தயாரித்துள்ளார். மோகன் ராஜா, லிங்குசாமி உள்ளிட்டோரிடம் உதவி இயக்குநராக பணிபுரிந்த எஸ்.பி.சுப்புராமன் இதனை இயக்கியுள்ளார். விதார்த், வாணி போஜன், ரகுமான், கிருத்திக் மோகன், பாலசந்திரன் ஐஏஎஸ் உள்ளிட்ட பலர் நடித்துள்ள இந்தப்படத்திற்கு  கார்த்திக் ஒளிப்பதிவு செய்ய, பாடல்களுக்கு ராகவ் பிரசாத் இசையமைக்க, கலா சரண் பின்னணி இசையமைத்துள்ளார். வரும் ஜூன்-7ஆம் தேதி இப்படம் திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாக இருக்கிறது. இதனை முன்னிட்டு அஞ்சாமை படக்குழுவினர் பத்திரிகையாளர் சந்திப்பு சென்னையில் நடைபெற்றது.  இதில் படக்குழுவினர் அனைவரும் கலந்துக் கொண்டனர். *இந்த நிகழ்வில் பாடலாசிரியர் கார்த்திக் நேத்தா பேசும்போது,*  “இந்தப் படத்தில் பேசக்கூடிய விஷயம் இப்போதும் கூட நம் சமூகத்தில் நிகழ்ந்து கொண்டு தான் இருக்கிறது என்பதால் நிச்சயம் ஒரு பேசு பொருளாக இருக்கும். தந்தை மகனுக்கு இடையே இருக்கக்கூடிய பேருறவை பிரதிபலிக்கக் கூடிய உணர்வுபூர்...
