In the   Telugu industry,    Amrutharamam  a film with newbies,  directed by debutant  Surendar Kontaddi  which  had been ready for release, decided not to wait indefinitely, and opted for a direct digital release  on Zee 5 on April 29 due to the uncertain  lockdown situation. In the Tamil industry, actor -producer, Suriya set the ball rolling in this direction. Suriya announced that his 2D Entertainments', Jyotika starrer Ponmaghal Vandhal would stream directly on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video , bypassing the theatrical route, given the uncertainity of a release date due to the lockdown....

by Rinku Gupta Boney Kapoor the successful producer from Bollywood is producing his debut Tamil movie which is the remake of the successful Pink ( Hindi). Quite a buzz was created when Kapoor announced that Thala Ajith is part of the film or #AK59. At the recent puja of the film,  Journalist Rangaraj  Pandey was also spotted, creating speculation about his role in the project, especially since he recently resigned from his position on a TV channel. Now, Pandey has confirmed doing an important role in the film, by tweeting an article published on the topic in a daily paper. Remains to be see what his role could be. Perhaps that of a lawyer in the courtroom drama starring Amitabh Bachchan in a major role in the  Tapsee Pannu  starrer?

by Rinku Gupta Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor has started the maiden Tamil venture of his production company Bayview Projects LLP with the official Tamil remake of Pink ( Hindi) The successful film starring Amitabh Bachhan and Taapsee amongst others, was also critically acclaimed. Helming this project will be Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru fame director H.Vinoth. While Yuvan Shankar Raja will compose the music, the rest of the cast and crew will be finalized shortly. The film was launched today in Chennai.  On the occasion, Boney Kapoor  revealed an interesting nugget of info, especially  for Ajith fans, "While working together  with Ajith for English Vinglish,  Sridevi had expressed her desire that Ajith  do a Tamil film  for our home production.  Nothing exciting came up till one day last year,  Ajith suggested remaking Pink in Tamil.  She  immediately agreed with him as she thought it was the  most appropriate  ...
