Madhavan-Shraddha Srinath's Maara to release on OTT in December

 by Rinku Gupta Actor R Madhavan was recently seen in Nishabdam opposite Anushka Shetty, on the OTT platform. Now his next, Maara, is set to go the OTT  way as well. From the moment it was announced and launched, this Madhavan-Shraddha Srinath starrer Maara had created a buzz of expectations from the powerhouse performers. The duo were seen together in Vikram Vedha earlier. The  first look  was unveiled recently and wowed fans.  What is more exciting for the team now  is that it has found a platform of big release on OTT through Amazon Prime Video.  In addition to the colourful first look, the announcement of  the release date of Dec 17th  has brought a buzz of  excitement as well. SR Prabhu calls for End to ' statement wars' between Theatres and Producers!

By Rinku Gupta The covid pandemic lockdown situation led to theatrical releases becoming impossible.  Films which were ready for release being directly hit at the time,  some chose to take the OTT route. In Kollywood Suriya announced his Ponmagal Vandhal would release on Amazon Prime on May 29 while Karthik Subbaraj's production Penguin, with Keerthy Suresh, will release on June 19.
