The duo were home in time to celebrate the post Diwali festival of Bhai Dooj also known as Bhai Tika and  Yama Dwitiya.  The day is an important one for brothers and sisters, for celebrating and strengthening their bond.  It follows the Govardhan Puja, which is a d ay after Diwali.  For the newly- wed couple, both celebrated with their respective siblings. Gautam's sister Gauri Nayar spent time with her brother along with her husband Nitin Nayar, and little son Kabir.  Later, Kajal dressed up and visited her cousins,  spending time with her cousin brother Vikram Aggarwal and his family for bhai dooj. The relaxed duo seem very much in love as they take in the beach view and the fresh air, far away from the crowds! The duo look adorable. Now the latest update is that the duo have now flown off for their honeymoon , for a much needed break after a  whirlwind lockdown wedding! The location had been kept hush hush but we have discovered where the duo have flown to! The lovebirds have flown to the Maldives in the Indian Ocean, on a trip to one of the world's most  exotic and most breathtakingly resorts. They are honeymooning at the famed Conrad Rangali Island Resort at Male in the Maldives. Posting a scenic pic, without revealing much, Gautam wrote, " Grateful for being able to travel again while taking necessary precautions. Slowly steadily we inch back towards normalcy. The duo held a girha pravesh puja and posted a pic of doing the holy havan ritual together, twinning in blue, looking very much in love. An elated husband Gautam posted on insta, " kitchlug Celebrating new beginnings. So grateful for the blessings of the past week, my incredible wife and our new home. " Later close friends visited the couple to wish them at a close- knit housewarming party. The festival of Karva Chauth which was celebrated yesterday, was the couple's first festival together.  Nisha Aggarwal, Kajal's sister, visited them and can be seen applying the traditional mehndi on Gautam's palm. Gautam is dapper in a black suit. Kajal can be seen holding on tightly to her husband's hand in a gesture of affection as they watch a violin concert together. For the Kashmiri meets Punjabi wedding ,  Gautam himself chose the theme of the decor and sat with wedding planners and stylists to oversee details with them, incorporating a Kashmiri effect and look into the mandap and decor, albeit with a modern touch.  Kajal's father Suman Aggarwal can be seen accompanying her to the wedding phera ceremony in other pics.
