Now the entire crew is happy that the shooting has been completed successfully. Hansika Motwani says, "A major part of the year 2020 has been a phase of trials and tribulations for all. I am happy to see that my ambitious project ‘Maha’ has finally wrapped up. Despite the long  hiatus, the entire crew retained the high spirits it had during the commencement of the project. I thank everyone in the team for being supportive, especially during these crucial times. We resumed the shooting works by following the strict rules of social distancing and hygiene factors as insisted by the Government. The film,  directed by Venkat Prabhu features Simbu with Kalyani Priyadashan opposite him.  Bharathi Raja, Karunkaran, SA Chandrasekar and Premgi Amaren are part of the cast. The DOP is Richard M Nathanwhile Rajeevan handles art direction. Praveen KL is the editor Kamatchi revealed in a series of well designed posters on Twitter. Stunt Silva will handle the action while  Vasuki Bhaskar will handle the costumes department. Yuvan Shankar Raja is handling the music and the buzz around the film just got bigger with an A team of technicians joining the list. This is Kalyani's next Tamil film post Hero. Simbu is reportedly on a weight loss spree. His next release is Maha.

Heroine Hansika  showed that she is capable of handling all these in equal measure during the shoot of her film Maha.  Focussing on a women-centric plot the story revolves around the leading lady who  needed to shoot a stunt sequence, which was filmed on Monday.  This intense sequence required the actress to go hard on the floor with a somersault, which was mistimed and ended with an  injury. The swift first aid and support from the team helped her recover sooner.  Even after the repeated advice to take rest, Hansika politely refused   and hit the shoot for shots that didnt need any hand movement to complete  the sequence. Maha is the 50th film of Hansika and her first stunt film. It is directed by U R Jameel and produced by Etcetera Entertainment.  ...
