 Legendary, multi faceted and an icon of Indian Film Industry, Shri Kamal Haasan met HIS HIGHNESS SHEIKH NAHYAN BIN MUBARAK AL NAHYAN, Cabinet member - Minister of Tolerance and Co-existence United Arab Emirates at his palace and discussed on the role of films and media in cutting across cultural diversity and fostering co-existence. In the meeting, emphasis was laid on the new media developed in recent times and the importance of handholding it into the next generation.

'Sembi' crew members met Kamal Haasan in person to congratulate him on the success of Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial Vikram.  Kamal Haasan watched the trailer of the movie 'Sembi' during this meeting and appreciated the team.  Producers of the film Trident Arts' R Ravindran, AR Entertainment's Riya, Auditor Akbar Ali the film's director Prabhu Solomon, Kovai Sarala and Aswin were present during the meeting. Kovai Sarala has played a key role in the movie.  Kamal Haasan, while appreciating the trailer, also hailed Kovai Sarala as an 'acting monster' (Nadippu Ratchasi).  Kamal Haasan's praise for the trailer of Sembi has given the team great excitement and the crew said that the film is getting ready to hit the screens soon.  "We are so happy that Kamal sir has appreciated our attempt. We are hopeful of the film getting good response from one and all," they said.

Sila Nerangalil Sila Manithargal  (2021) is actor Ashok Selvan's next project.  Scripted and directed by Vishal Venkat, the film  had a grand trailer launch recently. Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan  announced the trailer launch on Instagram and also  congratulated the team. He later also attended a grand trailer launch function.  The film stars Ashok Selvan, Nasser, Reyaa, KS Ravikumar, Anju Kurian, Manikandan, Abi Hassan, Bhanupriya, Anupama Kumar, Rithvika, and others.  Radhan of Arjun Reddy fame has composed the  music, while Meyyendiran  cranks the camera.  Ajmal Khan of  AR Entertainment is producing, in  association with  Trident Arts. The film is touted to be a slice of life drama with a hyper-link format  involving stories around the lives of various characters.

 By Rinku Gupta Even as the Mohanal-starrer 'Drishyam-2', the sequel to Malayalam superhit 'Drishyam', is getting rave reviews from various quarters, the film is all set to be remade in Telugu. Drishyam 2 dropped on Amazon Prime recently. Venkatesh and Meena are all set to repeat the magic in Tollywood. Interestingly, the same team which remade the original 'Drishyam' in Telugu is coming together for the sequel too. While Jeetu Joseph will wield the megaphone, Venkatesh, Meena, Nadhiya and Naresh will play key roles. It is to be noted that it's the same Jeetu who made 'Drishyam' in Malayalam as well. The film's pooja will take place on March 1. Shooting will commence on March 5 and go on for 50 days. Rajkumar Sethupathi and Sri Priya of Rajkumar Theatres, Malayalam producer Antony Perumbavoor and leading Telugu producer D Suresh Babu will bankroll 'Drishyam 2' in Telugu.
