Suriya and Jyotika came together for a joint interview online, with ace Mumbai based Bollywood film critic, Rajeev Masand. Featuring  in an interview on his You Tube channel,  on the eve of the OTT release of Ponmagal Vandhal ( on Amazon Prime on May 29th), the duo were all smiles and relaxed as they fielded questions from Masand. Starring Karthi and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead, the film is a breezy love story with camerawork by Velraj and editing by Ruben. The story, put briefly, revolves around a rich youngster, Dev Ramalingam  ( Karthi) who indulges in his passion for adventure, travelling the globe, and believes that life is meant to be lived fully in all its glory, taking risks when  needed instead of wasting it behind a desk job.  He has 2 childhood friends ( the talented Amrita Srinivasan  and VJ Vignesh) whom he is very close to. He finds love one day in the form of internationally jet -setting businesswoman Meghna Padmavathy ( Rakul Preet Singh) whom he meets on Facebook. by RinkuGupta Judging by the colorful posters of the film so far, looks like one of the most colourful musical celebrations will be arriving on December 29th !   We are talking about the music launch of Prince Pictures' next film, the Karthi- Rakul Preet Singh starrer, Dev.  It maybe recalled that the lead pair had set the screens on fire with their sizzling chemistry in one of the songs in their previous joint outing, Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru. Doubtless, fans will be awaiting the sparks flying off the screen in the romantic tracks of Dev too! Music composer Harris Jayaraj has composed 5 tracks for the film.
