Movie Review : Parari

The story revolves around two factions of a village, who share a common area  outside the village. One faction who feels superior to the other,  led by Jayakumar( Premnath), is bent on causing trouble for the other side, led by Maaran ( Harishankar).  Men and women from both sides go to work at a juice factory near Bengaluru where they are subject to language politics by local goons who beat them up because they are outsiders. Tbings take a terribme turn during a grusome attack on the Tamil workers , when Maaran  and his lady love Devaki ( Sangeetha Kalyan) are stripped and tortured by the goons led by Samrat Suresh ( Samrat). What happens next? Do Jayakumar and Maaran give up their infighting? Is Samrat arrested? Does true love succeed? The climax scene is both gripping and traumatic to watch.   The film is partly in Kannada but has Tamil subtitles. The village lif...

Nayan herself gives a peek into her early years, her relationship with her parents, the time in her life when she quit acting and how she bounced back.  The focus then shifts onto the love of her life and how she fell in love with and married Vignesh Shivan. Though the making is slick with some great visuals and quite interesting, a little more detailing would have added more depth to the story. Nayan touches upon personal topics, but the pain of her breakup and hiatus from the industry could have been presented with a tad more depth to create the righ...
