  Mega Prince Varun Tej is making a Pan-Indian debut with the film Matka being helmed by Karuna Kumar of Palasa 1978 and Sri Devi Soda Centre fame, Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala of Vyra Entertainments is producing the movie, in association with Rajani Talluri’s SRT Entertainments. A massive set is erected in Hyderabad where the shoot is presently underway. Matka is mounted on a large canvas with a high budget and top-notch technical standards. Extending birthday wishes to Varun Tej, the makers of the movie unveiled a video called Opening Bracket which is meant to show the premise of Matka. It opens with the protagonist playing music on a gramophone. It then shows characters in two different timelines. While Naveen Chandra appeared as a gangster, P Ravi Shankar is seen as a police officer. The childhood portion of the protagonist shows him playing kabaddi and he then becomes the head of the gambling mafia.   Filmmaker R S. Durai Senthilkumar is directing his new movie titled   ' Garudan', with Soori as the protagonist. Sasikumar and Unni Mukundan portray the titular characters in this movie. The star-studded cast also includes Samuthirakani, Revathi Sharma, Sshivada Nair, Mime Gopi, Mottai Rajendran, and others. Director Vetrimaaran has penned the story for this film, which boasts a musical score by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Arthur A Wilson. Pradeep E. Raghav is in charge of editing, while G. Durairaj oversees art direction. Produced by K. Kumar of Lark Studios, this action-packed entertainer has completed its shooting and is currently in the final stages of post-production. The first look and glimpses of the film released now are garnering immense excitement from fans. With the collaboration of talented individuals like Soori, Sasikumar, Unni Mukundan, Samuthirakani, and R S. Durai Senthil Kumar, the expectations for ‘Garudan’ have soared to new heights.
