By Rinku Gupta After Suriya's production, the Jyotika starrer Ponmagal Vandhal, Keerthy Suresh's Penguin and Yogi Babu's Cocktail, yet another Tamil  film is set to premiere on an OTT platform. Actor Nitin Sathyaa's second film as producer, Lock Up, which has been garnering a lot of attention ever since its  thrilling teaser released, is now all set to release on ZEE5, on August 14. Expectations from the film soared ever since news broke out that director Venkat Prabhu will be seen playing a role that he's never been seen in before, namely, that of a cop.   Actor Vaibhav plays the lead along with Vani Bhojan in this film, that has been directed by debutant S G Charles. Apart from Vaibhav and Vani, the film will also feature several established actors such as Poorna and Eswari Rao in important roles. Rhythm ( Keerthy Suresh) is expecting her second child,  and lives with her second husband ( Madhampetty Rangaraj) in Kodaikanal. She is still haunted by the disappearance of her son Ajay, ( Master Advaith) who was kidnapped 6 years ago.  The disappearance, and subsequent grief and guilt, had caused a rift between her and her first husband Raghu ( Linga),  leading to a subsequent divorce. Still in search,  not giving up on her belief on finding her lost son, Rhythm's efforts are rewarded when Ajay is found.  But he is far from normal. What happened to him in the interim years? A deep secret lies behind his kidnapping. She must find out the truth somehow... but how many obstacles does she have to overcome? How far will a mother go for the sake of her kids? ...

On the occasion, StoneBench Films and Passion Studios released the intriguing title and first look  poster of their next production. Titled Penguin, it shows a pregnant lady in silhouette , raising the curiosity bar by leaps and bounds. The last time one saw a similar poster of a pregnant lady, was Vidya Balan in thecsuper hit Kahaani ( Hindi). Known for essaying the unconventional with ease ( think Mahanati), this could be one more feather in Keerthy's cap. The tagline to the title  is 'Rise Destined'.
