Dhanush's mom in Naane Varuven is Anupama Kumar !

 By Rinku Gupta After her powerhouse performance playing Arya's mom in director Pa Ranjith's hit Sarpatta Paramparai, actor Anupama Kumar has joined the cast of another biggie. She is now part of Dhanush's film Naane Varuven  directed by Selvaraghavan and produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu. The actor posted on her social media, "A new journey begins. Happy to join the cast of this fantastic adventure."  Anupama with Arya and Pasupathi in Sarpatta Parambarai Anupama confirmed to CinemaSpeak that she is playing Dhanush's mother in the film.  According to the grapevine,  there was a hunt for the crucial  mother's role and looks like Selvaraghavan has now found the actor who fits the bill.  The film shoot started a few days ago in Chennai. Anupama has started shooting her portions from today,  with Dhanush. The film stars Indhuja Ravichandran in the female lead. Yamini is the DOP while Yuvan Shankar Raja it's scoring the music.

Vishnu Vishal's Mohandas readying for release!

  Vishnu Vishal Studioz, the makers of Vishnu Vishal’s upcoming film Mohandas, have now launched the second look poster of the film.   The team had recently wrapped up the shoot of the film, and are now progressing briskly in the post-production stage with edit and dubbing works taking place simultaneously. The second look poster showcases Vishnu Vishal with a smirk, holding a bloody hammer which has the three monkeys hanging like puppets from it. A fourth monkey is shown knocked down on the side. Mohandas is the sophomore directorial from Murali Karthick, who made his debut with Kalavu. The film stars Vishnu Vishal, Aishwarya Rajesh, Indrajith Sukumaran, Shariq Hassan, Lallu, Prakash Raghavan and Poornima Bhagyaraj. The team had completed major portions of the film in Chennai, across various locations. Mohandas has cinematography by Vignesh Rajagopalan, with music composed by Sundaramurthy KS. The editing is taken care of by Kripakaran. The film will hit the screens in 2022.
