  The shooting of Lyca Group Chairman Subaskaran 's “Production No.22” starring Atharvaa Murali and Aashika Renganath in the lead roles, directed by A Sarkunam commenced this morning (August 4, 2021) in the city of Thanjavur.  The entire crew is following strict health and hygiene protocols as per the current pandemic phase. The team has decided to complete the shooting process in a single-stretch schedule of 50 days.  The yet-to-be-titled movie, which is an out-and-out family entertainer, has an ensemble star cast - Raj Kiran, Radhika Sarathkumar, JP, R.K.   Actor Atharvaa Murali and director A. Sarkunam are teaming up for an untitled family entertainer production no22, produced by Subaskaran Lyca Group Chairman. The movie was launched this morning (July 16, 2021) with a simple ritual ceremony with the participants strictly following the health and hygiene protocols. Atharvaa Murali plays the lead and while the heroine is yet to be finalized, the others in the star cast comprise of Raj Kiran, Radhika Sarathkumar, JP, R.K. Suresh, Singam Puli, Kannada actor Ravi Khale, Sathru  Bala Saravanan, Raj Ayyappa, G.M. Kumar, and few more prominent actors.  The movie boasts of a strong technical crew that includes a musical score by Ghibran. The title font has released and created quite a buzz on social media. Dhana is directing the movie while renowned singer Sid Sriram makes his debut as a music director through this film. Vikram Prabhu, Aishwarya Rajesh, Madonna Sebastian, Sarath Kumar, Radhika SarathKumar, Amithash Pradhan and Shanthanu are in the cast. 'Vaanam Kottattum' talks about the significance of  every relationship in our families. The film  has been shot in various places such as Chennai, Thirunelveli, Courtallam and other interior regions of Tamil Nadu. The film is slated for a January 2020 release.

By Rinku Gupta At the press meet for Lyca Productions ' Kaappaan , Suriya made an emotional appeal to fans to avoid cut outs and banners for his films and instead to do good socially beneficial activities.  He was reacting to the recent death of techie Subhasri on Chennai roads when a flex banner for a wedding,  flew off and hit her, and caused an accident leading to her tragic demise. The meet was attended by the cast and crew including director KV Anand, Sayyesshaa, Arya, Prem, Thalaivasal Vijay, editor Antony   Samudrakani and others. Suriya trained in Manesar near Delhi, to play a special protection guard, in charge of security of leaders. Mohanlal is part of the film which is releasing on Sep 20th.
