Produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations and directed by Vamsi Paidipally, Thalapathy Vijay's 'Varisu' has released as a Pongal feast and is running successfully. Thaman composed the music for the film, which stars Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead, R Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, Prabhu, Jayasudha, Srikanth Meka, Shaam, Sangitha, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Samyuktha Shanmughanathan and others in the lead roles.
