By Rinku Gupta Actor Vemal and Varalakshmi’s upcoming movie is Kannirasi which marks thier fresh pairing, directed by debutant S.Muthukumaran. The film is produced by Shameem Ibrahim under the banner King Movie Makers. Actor, director Pandiarajan plays an important role in this film alongside Robo Shankar, Yogibabu and others.  The Press Meet of Kanni Rasi  held on Tuesday turned out to be a fun -filled meet  with the team comprising Vimal, Varalakshmi, Robo Shankar, lyricist Yugabharathi, director S.Muthukumaran and the music director Vishal Chandrasekar, dop Selvakumar and producer Shamem Ibrahim.  Lyricist Yugabharathi  said “I can proudly say the film Kanni Rasi is produced by a journalist instead of using the word ‘Producer’ since the producer Shameem Ibrahim had many years og working experience as a journalist before. By Rinku Gupta The grand audio launch of GV Prakash's next , Ayngaran opposite Mahima Nambiar, was held today. " The film will show a new phase of GV Prakash, as action hero. It deals with a sensitive issue, " said director Adhik Ravichandran who said he has seen the final product. The film is produced by Common Man R Ganesh and is released by Libraa Productions Ravindhar Chandrasekharan. GV Prakash plays a scientist in the film. Hundreds of junior artists have been used in the film. " I play a scientist who is waiting for a patent for his invention. This could be India's first invention oriented film. Director Ravi Arasu wrote this several years ago. It deals with an important issue " said GV Prakash. The event was attended by dignitaries which included Bharathi Raja.
