Movie Review : 2 k Love Story

 From childhood, Moni ( Meenakshi Govindrajan) and Karthi ( Jayaveer) have been buddies sharing a thick bond. As adults they run a successful pre- wedding  photo shoot studio. But soon their platonic relationship is put to the test when the question of marriage enters the fray. Everyone is out to prove that they are in love, and the burden of proving them wrong now rests on their shoulders.  But are they really in love?  Or can a man and woman share a deep friendship sans traces of love and marriage? Does their friendship stand the test of time and circumstance? The first half of the film is all peppy and trendy with great visuals and trendy songs ny D Imman. Bala Saravanan scores with his wit and the lead  pair do a neat and convincing job as friends and professionals. The light moments keep you engaged. The drama heightens in the second half as the story shifts to a rural locale with serious questions  like finding the right marriage partner to handle....

Movie Review : Otha Vote Muthaiya

 The film revolves around a politician Otha Vote Muthaiya ( Goundamani) who had three sisters. He wants them to marry into a family of 3 brothers in order to avoid a tragedy that happened to a woman in his family.  But this being a tough situation, no matter how hard they try, the sisters are unable to find a suitable groom with those conditions. So they hatch a plot to marry the men they each love and convince their brother that they are brothers. In the meanwhile an old enemity catches up with Muthaiya who now wants to prove himself in his political field as well. What happens next? With a plethora of actors, the film is a laugh riot as well as an emotional drama. It's good to see veteran Goundamani back in full form and keep us regaled with his witty one liners and performance, keeping the viewer glued to the screen.  The story revolves a young man,  Saktivel (Srikanth) who believes in planning his life in a way that will make him rich and succcessful. He filmly believes that only a working womam earning more than him  can be the right life partner for him.  Due to this reason he finds it tough to find the right girl. As luck would have it however, he ends up married to a girl, Shivani ( Cynthia Lourde) , a half American, who believes that family life is more important and does not want to go and work professionally. A shattered Sakthi, blames his parents for the arranged marriage and doesn't want to lead a happily married life with his homely wife. As he goes chasing his dreams to get rich quick, he soon lands in trouble. What happens next? Does he get out of his situation? Does he realise the importance of a loving family in life?
