An official confirmation has been made on the project.  Thalapathy Vjiay will team up with director Nelson Dilipkumar for the project which will be bankrolled by biggie Sun Pictures. Anirudh Ravichander will compose the music,  his third flick with Vijay, after Kaththi and Master. Nelson who debuted with Nayanthara's Kolamavu Kokila is currently working with Sivakarthikeyan in Doctor. Both Sun Pictures and Nelson officially announced the project on social media. This is Sun's 4th film with Vijay after  Vettaikaaran, Sura and Sarkar. By Rinku Gupta Amidst rumors of Vijay's Master going the OTT route, comes good news for Thalapathy fans who are awaiting a grand celebration with a theatrical release. Producers Xavier Britto and Seven Screen Studios' Lalit Kumar have clarified in a press statement that the film will release only in theatres.  They admitted that a reputed OTT player had been contacting them but they have decided to continue with the original plan of a theatrical release. Rumors flew fast and wide about his stepping into politics with such  move.  However, denying the political entry of the star, his  PR machinery swung into action and soon, a press statement  emerged from Vijay issuing a clarification on the news. Post  the blockbuster success of Bigil, Thalapathy Vijay headed for New Delhi where the shoot is currently going on. Now the latest entrant to the cast of the film is popular show host, TV personality turned actor,  VJ Ramya Subramanian. The actor,  anchor and fitness buff is currently shooting in the capital along with Vijay and the cast.  Ramya has acted in films like Ok Kanmani and the recent Aadai . Apparently she has been shooting for the last 20 days in the city.  Ramya has described the opportunity as a dream come true to act beside Vijay on screen, being a fan of his and having anchored several audio launches of his movies.
