Shiva- Jiiva in comedy entertainer Golmaal !

Jaguar Studios' Vinod Jain to produce and Ponkumaran to direct Jiiva and Shiva-starrer fun-filled family entertainer 'Golmaal' Actors Jiiva and Shiva will be joining forces for a new film titled 'Golmaal', to be produced by Jaguar Studios' B Vinod Jain (who had earlier bankrolled 'Miruga') and directed by Ponkumaran.  Ponkumaran has directed several successful Kannada movies so far. He is a former associate of K Bhagyaraj and K S Ravikumar.  Speaking about the movie, Ponkumaran said this will be an out and out family entertainer which will attract audiences to theatres and make everyone happy. At a grand launch in Chennai today, he revealed, "Jiiva and Shiva have very good humour sense and a different magic can be created when they share the screen space. An English-Tamil film on human rights

A movie is in the making, produced by WEC Film Factory  by M Ravi,  a Singaporean of Tamil descent who is an international human rights lawyer who fights against the death penalty and other human right abuses around the world. He is the author of the books Hung at Dawn and Kampong Boy which has influenced the production of this movie. This movie depicts true as well as fictionalised incidents, human resilience, campaigning against death penalty, a mother’s sacrifices and abundant love, ideologies of a justice system based on Tamil tradition, and the culture, heritage and life of Tamil rulers who worked for the well-being of the people. The music composition of the movie has been completed. Lawyer Aadhi Yogi M. Ravi fighting against the death penalty appears as the protagonist alongside a few more lead actors and actresses and is directed by cinematographer Prem Li.  The movie will be released as an English one with a separate production in Tamil as well.
