Movie Review: PADDINGTON IN PERU

Based on the character, Paddington Bear, created by Michael Bond, Paddington (2014), a live action animated comedy, was a box-office hit. Based on its success, Paddington 2 (2017) followed, both directed by Paul King. While the first movie was about a soft and polite bear that migrates from the jungles of Peru to the streets of London and is adopted by the Brown family, followed by an unknown person who has a hidden agenda. In the sequel, it gets imprisoned for a crime not committed and the bear has to prove its innocence for its acquittal Paddington in Peru is the third instalment of the famous franchise. The Brown family sets out into the Peruvian jungles to track Paddington’s aunt Lucy who is lost. This 3rd film marks the directorial debut of Dougal Wilson.
