நடிகர் சூர்யா நடிப்பில் தயாராகியுள்ள 'ரெட்ரோ' திரைப்படத்தின் இசை மற்றும் முன்னோட்ட வெளியீட்டு விழா சென்னையில் சிறப்பாக நடைபெற்றது. இயக்குநர் கார்த்திக் சுப்புராஜ் இயக்கத்தில் உருவாகியுள்ள ' ரெட்ரோ' எனும் திரைப்படத்தில் சூர்யா, பூஜா ஹெக்டே, ஜோஜு ஜார்ஜ் , ஜெயராம், நாசர் , பிரகாஷ்ராஜ், சுஜித் சங்கர், சுவாசிகா, சிங்கம் புலி, கருணாகரன், நந்திதா தாஸ் , ரம்யா சுரேஷ், ஜார்ஜ் மரியான் உள்ளிட்ட பலர் நடித்திருக்கிறார்கள். ஸ்ரேயாஸ் கிருஷ்ணா ஒளிப்பதிவு செய்திருக்கும் இந்த திரைப்படத்திற்கு சந்தோஷ் நாராயணன் இசையமைத்திருக்கிறார். ரொமாண்டிக் ஆக்சன் எண்டர்டெய்னராக தயாராகி இருக்கும் இந்த திரைப்படத்தை 2 டி என்டர்டெய்ன்மென்ட் மற்றும் ஸ்டோன் பெஞ்ச் பிலிம்ஸ் ஆகிய நிறுவனங்கள் இணைந்து தயாரித்திருக்கிறது. எதிர்வரும் மே மாதம் முதல் தேதியன்று உலகம் முழுவதும் திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாகும் இந்த திரைப்படத்தின் இசை மற்றும் முன்னோட்டம் வெளியிடப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. இதற்காக சென்னையில் உள்ள நேரு உள் விளையாட்டு அரங்கில் நடைபெற்ற பிரத்யேக நிகழ்வில் ஆயிரக்கணக்கான சூர்யா ரசிகர்களுடன் படக் குழுவினர் கலந்து கொண்டனர். இ...

A young man is killed in an intercity bus, when accompanied by his girlfried. The couple have eloped and fear that the girl's family may be following her. The case falls into the hands of a young cop, Castro ( Sibiraj ) who has to solve the mystery. It's not easy to get to the truth given that most passengers were asleep at the time.  As he continues to dig deeper frustration mounts. Can Castro solve the case in record time? The film keeps the suspense going right till the end,  thanks to  a taut screenplay and good performances by a superb cast. Sibiraj in the lead brings credibility to his role with a neat performance as the serious and methodical young cop.
