The film is a remake of a Kannada hit and based on a literary work. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar-Santhosh Prathap starrer “Kondraal Paavam”, which had its shooting commenced by beginning of this month has now completed major schedule in Hyderabad. The film owns an essence of excellence for it is based on a famous Kannada play authored by Shri. Mohan Habbu. Its filmic adaptation in Kannada, which earned groovy response later followed by Telugu remake (both helmed by Dayal Padmanabhan, director of Tamil version). It is noteworthy that the Telugu version was produced by Allu Arvind for Aha Original. The shooting of ‘Kondraal Paavam’ commenced at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad with huge set works erected. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Santhosh Prathap starring “Kondraal Paavam” shoot started with a Pooja ceremony. The movie launch took place on Friday morning at Prasad Lab in Chennai. The occasion was graced by eminent personalities from the Tamil film industry.  The shooting is scheduled to commence on November 1st at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. The movie is a classic crime thriller set in the year 1981. It is based on the famous Kannada play written by Shri. Mohan Habbu, which was later made into a Kannada movie followed by a Telugu remake was bankrolled by Legendary producer Allu Arvind for Aha Original, both the versions were directed by Dayal Padmanabhan, who is wielding the megaphone for the Tamil version as well.   Choreographer Bobby Antony is making his debut as a director with a film that is being produced by Home Movie Makers and which has been tentatively titled Production Number 3. The film, which features actress Andreah Jeremiah and Santosh Prathap in the lead, got off to an auspicious start today with a pooja ceremony. Producer Sujatha Vijaykumar's Home Movie Makers, is producing this untitled film. Apart from Andrea Jeremiah, the film will also feature actors Asha Sharath and Kaali Venkat  in important roles. The film will also have Sha Ra, Japan Kumar, Vinodhini, Bala Saravanan and Yuvalakshmi playing significant characters. Akhil George will be the cinematographer of the film, which will have music by Ron Ethan Yohan.
