It was difficult to play Maari - Dhanush

At a recent press meet, hero Dhanush revealed why it was so tough for him to play the lead character," Maari doesnt like anyone and nobody likes him. But despite that, the audiences seem to like Maari. That was a tough proposition to execute. He would even poke and puncture the balloons of kids! I told director Balaji that kids who normally like me in films, wouldnt like me anymore if he put scenes like this! But Balaji was confident it would work. In fact playing the character in Vada Chennai  who carries alit of guilt, was easier for me than playing Maari, because of this characterisation!" Rangaraj Pandey in Ajith starrer, Pink remake

by Rinku Gupta Boney Kapoor the successful producer from Bollywood is producing his debut Tamil movie which is the remake of the successful Pink ( Hindi). Quite a buzz was created when Kapoor announced that Thala Ajith is part of the film or #AK59. At the recent puja of the film,  Journalist Rangaraj  Pandey was also spotted, creating speculation about his role in the project, especially since he recently resigned from his position on a TV channel. Now, Pandey has confirmed doing an important role in the film, by tweeting an article published on the topic in a daily paper. Remains to be see what his role could be. Perhaps that of a lawyer in the courtroom drama starring Amitabh Bachchan in a major role in the  Tapsee Pannu  starrer?
