 Director-actor Sasikumar's next heroic venture began today with an auspicious  pooja and song recording. Sasikumar plays the lead role in the film that has music by D Imman and is directed by debutant  M Hemanth Kumar. The yet-to-be-titled film is produced by S. Lakshman Kumar under the banner Prince Pictures which is currently producing 'Sardar' starring Karthi. This Sasikumar starrer is a rural commercial action entertainer. Cinematography is by Ganesh Chandra. Editing, by Shiva Nandeeswaran, Art Direction by Milan.  Stunts are choreographed by the Anbariv duo, Bigboss fame Samyuktha Shan plays an important role. Heroine and the rest of the cast, crew and technicians and shooting details of the movie would be announced shortly.

Now yet another avatar awaits him, this time in the Adult horror comedy genre, that too, in a 3D format.  In this film, he teams up with not one but two heroines, which include the sizzling Yashika Anand of Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kutthu and Bigg Boss fame and Nikki Tamboli. The emergence of the ‘Adult Horror Comedy’ genre has  gotten a mixed reception in Tamil. Actor Ganesh Venkatram admits that life has completely changed post his participation in Vijay TV’s  reality show, Bigg Boss, in Tamil, this year. “Where ever I go, I get mobbed! The love the people are showing for me has left me speechless and humbled. I never expected this kind of a reaction. Even after Thani Oruvan I have been mobbed. But the scale of the adulation after Bigg Boss is overwhelming !” says the tall and handsome actor. Citing an example of how life has changed, he says, “Just 2 days  after I got home from the show,  Nisha and I went to the Forum Mall in Chennai for some shopping. Within minutes I was mobbed!  I was surrounded by people pulling my cheeks, kissing me, complimenting me and showering me with their love.  This went on for around an hour.
