Review: IRUMBU MANITHAN

By Rinku Gupta Irumbu Manithan,  produced by Shankar Movies International's  Joseph Baby productions, Disney directorial, stars Santhosh Prathap, Archana, Kanjakaruppu and Madhusoodhana Rao. The story revolves around a young man Sundharam ( Santosh Pratap) who rises in life from poverty till he becomes a rich hotel owner with 100 restaurants. As a youth, he even gives up marriage, in order to look after 3 orphan boys that he adopts. He is highly charitable and a do- gooder all through his life. He is aided by his Man Friday ( Kanja Karuppu). When he becomes old  and his sons are grown -up, things begin to go downhill. The sons are gamblers and have no respect for him.  Things go from bad to worse till one day they get him to sign his wealth to them and turn him out of his home and business. He is back on the streets as he was in childhood. Will things ever get better? Will his sons realise their mistake? The film tries to drive home points about charity,  compass

Review :GALTHA

By Rinku Gupta "Galtha” marks the third directorial outing of filmmaker Hari Uthra, who earlier made “Theru Naaigal” and “Padithavudan Kizhithuvidavum”. Malarkodi Raghupathy, Usha and Hari Uthra are producing this film for Malar Movie Makers and I Creations.  The  star-cast comprises of Siva Nishanth, Merku Thodarchi Malai fame Antony,  Ayraa, Divya, Gajaraj, SMT Karunanidhi, Kaaka Muttai Sasi, Suresh, Muthu Veera, Pazhaya Joke Thangadurai and Raja Simman in title roles. K. Jai Krish has composed music and B. Vasu is handles the camera with Muthu Muniyasamy as editor. The others in the technical crew are Kotti (Stunts), Suresh (Choreography), Inba Art Prakash (Art),  Blesson (Designs), Pa. The actor has got the latest Panther Classic Plus Camera Dolly, a state -of - the- art  equipment , a first of its kind in Bengaluru, that will make filming much more smoother.
