  படப்பிடிப்பில் இயக்குநர்-நடிகர் சேரன் காயம் பிரபல இயக்குநரும் நடிகருமான சேரன், நந்தா பெரியசாமி இயக்கத்தில் கவுதம் கார்த்திக்குடன் இணைந்து ஆனந்தம் விளையாடும் வீடு எனும் திரைப்படத்தில் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரத்தில் தற்போது நடித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்.  இப்படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பு சமீபத்தில் திண்டுக்கல்லில் நடைபெற்றது. வீடு ஒன்று இத்திரைப்படத்தில் பிரதானமாக இடம்பெறுகிறது. அந்த வீட்டில் படப்பிடிப்பு நடந்த போது கால் இடறி விழுந்த சேரனுக்கு தலையில் காயம் ஏற்பட்டது.  இதைத் தொடர்ந்து, சேரனின் தலையில் எட்டு தையல்கள் போடப்பட்டன. இருந்த போதிலும், படப்பிடிப்பை ரத்து செய்யமால் தொடர்ந்து தனது காட்சிகளை சேரன் நடித்துக் கொடுத்துள்ளார்.  சேரன் உள்ளிட்ட படக்குழுவினர் தற்போது சென்னை திரும்பியுள்ளனர்

 By Rinku Gupta The shooting of Anandham Vilayadum Veedu starring Gautham karthik and Cheran in principle roles, is on full swing and the team has successful kick-started the second schedule in Dindugal.  Producer P. Ranganathan, Sri Vaari Film, says, “I am so happy with the way, Anandham Vilayadum Veedu is shaping up. Director Nanda Periyasamy is doing a fabulous job by exactly making the movie as he narrated. In particular, the episodes involving Gautham Karthik and Cheran sir are so nice to see. We have now successfully started the second leg shooting in Dindugal."  The film is a family entertainer. Others in the star-cast include Saravanan, Motta Rajendran, Venba,  Daniel Balaji, Kizhakku Cheemaiyile fame Vignesh, Singam Puli, Kumki Jommalloori, Lyricist Snegan, Namo Narayanan, Soundarajan, Mounicka, Maina, Paruthiveeran fame Sujatha, Priyanka, Nakkalite Dhanam and many others.

Cheran plays an alcoholic cop, affected by a malady known as the Sleeping Beauty syndrome where he can fall asleep suddenly and for undeteremined periods. This affects his marital life, with divorce proceedings turning bitter and running into 10 years. In the final hearing, he tells the judge that he is willing to grant divorce if his wife allows his 17 year old daughter to stay with him for 10 days prior to leaving for the US for higher studies. When she comes over, all goes well, till she is kidnapped by a man who she introduces as her boyfriend via a video recording ( Irfan in a convincing performance). But unbeknownst to her, the boyfriend and his 3 friends have trapped her, as revenge for a previous arrest Cheran had got them into. Now, the villains subject Cheran to a cat ...

" The film is a thriller showcasing a love between a father and his daughter.," revealed MS Prabhu the cameraman at the audio and trailer launch. The function was attended by its  lead cast Cheran, Irfan and Srushti Dange apart from guests Saran and Vasanthabalan. The film is released by SDC Picturez. Srushti Dange revealed that she was injured during the shoot. " The film has a very topical subject , especially for girls living alone in cities. " she added. Actor Irfan said he was hesitant to do the negative role given to him but was happy how it came out on screen finally. The director Sai Rajkumar said that nobody else could have done the father's role that Cheran has done. Cheran stressed, " Anyone who has a daughter or girls in the house, should see this film."
