 Naduvan directed by Sharran Kumar with music by Dharan, starring Bharat, Aparna Vinod, Gokul Anand, Aruvi Bala, George Maryam and others, dropped on Sony Liv on Sep 24th. The suspesnse thriller revolves around Karthik ( Bharat) a tea estate owner in Kodaikanal, whose wife ( Aparna Vinod) cheats on him with his partner Shiva ( Gokul Anand).  In this world enters a trusted young employee Guru ( Aruvi Bala) of Karthik, who accidentally uncovers the secret affair and  gets caught up in the proceedings, involving blackmail, an accidental murder and the wrong kind of friends who land him further  in trouble. What happens when all their worlds collide? Does Karthik get vengeance for being cheated on?  Who can he trust? Dharan's music, keeping it light and non- intrusive adds to the suspense. The film is a mix of sentiment and suspense, making for an easy watch. Bharat and all the actors are well cast. The camerawork by Yuvraj highlights the verdant appeal of Kodaikana...

By Rinku Gupta A thriller directed by debutant Sri Senthil ( of the famed Naalai Iyakkunar show ), Kaalidas stars Bharath, Adhav Kannadasan, Ann Sheetal, Suresh Menon, Velraj and Priyadarshini. Bharath is Kaalidas, an upright, hardworking cop whose wife  ( Ann Sheetal perfectly cast,  in a  wonderful, layered performance) is disgruntled because he never has any time for her.  In the midst of this martial discord,  Kaalidas is caught up in the imvestigation of a series of murders ( or is it suicides) of women. Suresh Menon is the IPS officer who works on the case with him and the team stumble on a series of clues. In the midst of all this,  a stranger ( Aadhav Kannadasan in a good role that he plays out superbly) enters as a tenant in  Kaalidas' home. Who is this person? Is he linked to the crimes?
