C V Kumar, B T Arasakumar come together for Idumbankaari Leading producer C V Kumar of Thirukumaran Entertainment, known for bankrolling films that give importance to script, has joined forces with politician and entrepreneur B T Arasakumar of BTK Films for a movie titled Idumbankaari. The title and first look of the flick, tipped to be an investigative thriller, were launched today. Directed by debutant Arul Ajit, Idumbankaari has Shivadha Nair and Ramya Pandiyan in lead roles . Anupama Kumar, 'Neya Naana' fame Gopinath , director Veluprabakaran, Arun and Jothi will be seen playing key roles. The movie has cinematography by Ameen, music by Arunraj of Thadam fame and editing by Iganatious Aswin. The final phase of shooting is currently going on and it is expected to conclude in a few days. ' Jango' - Kollywood's first time loop based film gets ready for release Apparently, for the first time in  Tamil cinema, a time loop based movie titled Jango is gearing up  to impress  the audience. The film written and directed by Mano Karthikeyan is bankrolled by C V Kumar under the banner Thirukumaran Entertainment along with Zen Studios. Speaking about Jango, Mano Karthikeyan says that the movie is about  incidents that take place in a single day. "The events of the particular day will keep repeating and they will be shown with a different screenplay. We have time travel based movies in Kollywood, but Jango will be first of its kind time loop based science-fiction flick," he said. The film has debutant Satheesh Kumar and TikTok fame Mrinalini Ravi in the lead roles. Called CEAD Film Consultancy, it was launched today by actors Arya and Vijay Antony, in a bid  to provide a fully integrated and comprehensive film consultancy service from experts in the field, covering all aspects of film business.    The firm's experts comprise of  Dr.G. Dhananjayan, C.V. Kumar, ‘Karundhel’ Rajesh, Venkat Subha, Raghunathan PS (Two MB Productions), Actor Jagan, Dhanapal Padmanabhan (Igene), CA S. Krishnakumar, Vijayan Subramanian, M.V. Bhaskaran and film P R O Nikil Murukan. Directed by P Marimuthu and produced by Shaman pictures,  the film is based on the simple lives of shepherds and how they are impacted when thier lives are disrupted. Thorati refers to the hooked instrument used to pluck foliage for thier herds. At a press meet on the film, said CV Kumar said who will be releasing it under his Thirukumaran Entertainment banner, "I have always been on the look out to back good cinema. After Attakathi I was searching for a good realistic film for a long  time. Even friends in my native place would ask me why I am not backing good rural stories.  But they are not always easy to find. When I saw Thorati I was very impressed.
