Prabhu Deva all praise for Amyra Dastur in Bagheera!

 Prabhudeva and director of Bagheera, Adhik Ravichandran, are all praise for Bollywood  actor, Amyra Dastur. Amyra stars in the Tamil  film Bagheera opposite Prabhudeva and was naturally nervous to shoot alongside the icon who is well known globally as an iconic star performer. Therefore, she was thrilled  when she received  compliments from both the director Adhik and Prabhudeva who hailed her performance as exemplary. Speaking on the same, Adhik, said at the trailer launch, "Amyra Dastur, the lead in the film, has given her best to this role, even though she did not know the language. Her scenes with master (Prabhudeva) where she had to cry and emote a lot are soul stirring. She will most definitely go places."  There was a grand press meet today for the trailer launch of this mass thriller in Chennai and the trailer is expected to go online soon today.

Thalli Pogathey ready for Oct 14th release !

  Atharvaa Murali and Anupama Parameswaran are playing the lead roles in ‘Thalli Pogathey’, directed and produced by R. Kannan of Masala Pix. The movie is all set for the worldwide theatrical release on October 14, 2021. The cast and crew of this movie was in Chennai to interact with the press and media during the Pre-Release event. Director R. Kannan said, “It’s been 10 years my journey started with my directorial debut Jayam Kondan, and producer Thyagarajan sir happens to be the main reason. I believe of getting good reviews like how I got in Kanden Kadhalai. Ram Prasad has been a great support for this movie. Gopuram Films Madurai Anbu has been a great support for this movie. Film Review : Appathava Aataya Potutaanga

 Appathava Aataya Potutaanga starring Chandra Haasan, Delhi Ganesh and a host of others has dropped on Sony Liv today. The film is directed by Stephen Raj  The film revolves around the ill treatment meted out to elders by thier families. Kamal Haasan's brother  Chandra Haasan plays one such elder left in an old age home by his family.  There he meets an old lady who has been abandoned by her son. The lady yearns to return home.  The duo become friendly.  One day, the lady's son, Shanmugam, gets a shocking news that his mother has eloped with her male friend from the old age home.  The eloping couple are helped by their four aged friends. As Shanmugam pursues them, crying about the shame this will bring to their family honor, things get heated up and everyone lands in a police station. What happens to the eloping couple? Andrea Jeremiah, Santosh Prathap in Bobby Antony debut as director!

  Choreographer Bobby Antony is making his debut as a director with a film that is being produced by Home Movie Makers and which has been tentatively titled Production Number 3. The film, which features actress Andreah Jeremiah and Santosh Prathap in the lead, got off to an auspicious start today with a pooja ceremony. Producer Sujatha Vijaykumar's Home Movie Makers, is producing this untitled film. Apart from Andrea Jeremiah, the film will also feature actors Asha Sharath and Kaali Venkat  in important roles. The film will also have Sha Ra, Japan Kumar, Vinodhini, Bala Saravanan and Yuvalakshmi playing significant characters. Akhil George will be the cinematographer of the film, which will have music by Ron Ethan Yohan.
