 Silambarasan TR's   film  directed by Gautham Menon and produced by Vels International, had a first look poster release which bowled over fans and industry folks alike. The film title has been changed to Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu, taken from Bharthiyar's poetry.  Now, according to a media interview published in  Chennai Times, TOI,  producer Ishari Ganesh has reportedly revealed details of the project.  The film is a rural action drama, currently being shot in Tiruchendur and will later move to Chennai and Mumbai. Simbu, who looks years younger in the poster,  has apparently lost around 15 kgs for the role and is being trained by an instructor and well be doing special stunts for a  role unlike anything he has done before.  Radhika Sarathkumar plays his mother in the film. The movie was embroiled in several issues and even  till last night shows in US had been reported cancelled despite the fixing of Nov 29th as release date.     Gautham menon arrives at Rohini silverscreen to view ENPT show with public But now all is well it would seem. His much delayed film Enai  Noki Paayum Thota is finally releasing on November 29th, thanks to Vels Film International Gautham thanked producer Ishari K Ganesh for the gesture of helping him clear the Dhanush film for release. On the same day, (ie) today, the first look poster of Joshua was also released by the production house.  There was much speculation about the project,( starring Ishari Ganesh's nephew, Puppy film fame Varun), with people thinking it was a revival of Gautham's earlier shelved ambitious big budget  project Yohan. Gautham took to social media to clear the air about  Yohan and also explain how ENPT finally got a release date.
