2D Entertainment Clarifies on Sikhya Entertainment claims for Soorarai Pottru Hindi Rights
No truth in Sikhya Entertainment's claim: 2D Entertainment Co-Producer Rajsekar Karpoorasundarapandian 2D Entertainment Private Limited, the makers of the highly-acclaimed blockbuster Soorarai Pottru , featuring actor Suriya in the lead, have clarified that the claims being made by Sikhya Entertainment with regard to the Hindi rights of the film are untrue and incorrect. Dismissing the claims made by Sikhya Entertainment in an arbitration case filed by them before the Hon’ble High Court of Madras, Rajsekar Karpoorasundarapandian CEO of 2D Entertainment said that the facilitation fee as agreed have been paid in full by 2D entertainment to Sikhya Entertainment with regard to their facilitation work for the acquisition of the film's rights from Captain Gopinath.
