The teaser launched took place this morning in Chennai . Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Elango, who has given the audio description ( AD) said  “The teaser released with an AD is a real boon for visually challenged people. If such a practice is followed with every movie, cinema will find more reach and can be enjoyed by all.   In foreign countries, full-length theatrical movies have been screened with the AD option and even the sound and other technical aspects are being designed in such a way to cater to the needs of visually challenged people. By Rinku Gupta Sibiraj starrer Walter, directed by Anbu, is about a cop in Kumbakonam, who unearths a sinister plot when babies go missing and are later found dead. A local politcian ( Bava Chelladurai) and his family ( Rythvika, Abhishek) in the meanwhile, are bent on protecting their nefarious interests. Babu ( Samudrakani ) is another politico killed in an encounter which leads to the rise of his friend ( Natty) now gunning for Walter. How are all these activities linked? How does Walter solve the mystery? Sibiraj's height and body build makes him ideal for the role of a cop and he does full justice to it. Shirin Kanchwala looks cute but doesn't have much of a role. But a meandering script that seems to move between medical thriller and crime story seems to let him down. The action scenes lack punch and are hardly gripping. Earlier Ameer had acted in the lead in Yogi. M Sasikumar is already an established director - hero. Now young director Pradeep makes his debut as an actor in the Sibiraj starrer Kabadadaari in a special appearance. According to producer G Dhananjayan  he was found to be apt and menacing enough for the role and hence was cast.  The film is racing towards the  finishing line for a May 2020 release.

In the meantime he is busy shooting for his next film Kabadadaari which is a bi- lingual in Tamil and Telugu and is directed by Pradeep Krishnamoorthy. Recently Suman Ranganathan joined the cast in a key role. She shot for a song and dance number apart from a few scenes in the film at a giant set in Chennai. Incidentally it was actor Pooja Kumar, who was earlier signed by the makers to play a vital role. But she has now been replaced by Suman Ranganathan who had essayed the same role in the original Kannada version. The occasion witnessed the presence of the film’s star-cast including Sibiraj and others along with technical team. Veteran actor Sivakumar switched on the camera for the first shot.  Filmmaker Sasi, Diya Movies producer B. Pradeep (of Kolaigaran fame), producer Kamal Bohra, producer Dr. Prabhu Thilak and director Anbu of Sibiraj’s ‘Walter’ fame were also present for the occasion. The film will be exploring a new theme and will  be produced by G. Dhananjayan and Lalitha Dhananjayan of Creative Entertainers and Distributors. Sibiraj and Sathyaraj are coming together again after their recent combination in Jackson Durai. The music will be by Simon K. King, who got acclaim for his Kolaigaran starring Vijay Antony and Arjun. The lead heroine and a few more technicians are to be finalized.
