"After much anticipation, fans of Maestro Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja can now rejoice as the official launch of his biopic film titled ‘ Ilaiyaraaja ’ took place  in Chennai. Actor Kamal Haasan had the honor of unveiling the poster, which features Dhanush in a captivating retro style, embodying the musical legend Ilaiyaraaja. The film is directed by Arun Matheswaran, renowned for his work in Captain Miller." The film is prersented by Connekkt Media, PK Prime Production and Mercuri Movies. Produced by Sriram Bakthisaran, C.K. Padma Kumar, Varun Mathur,  Ilamparithy Gajendrean and Saurbh Mishra. But that hasnt stopped the busy man from already planning and working on his next. The ace director has now announced his next project. Olympia Movies' M Ambeth  Kumar  will be producing his next film. It may be recalled that Olympia Movies has produced Gypsy, starring Jiiva which is awaiting release. by Rinku Gupta To commemorate the 15th year of actor Vishal in the film industry, the actor has made a happy  announcement about his next film Thupparivaalan 2. The music of Thupparivaalan2   which is directed by Mysskin, will be composed by none other than  maestro Ilaiyarajaa. Mysskin had recently gone to London to scout for locations. He had visited the famed Baker Street to see the great detective Sherlock Holmes ' museum located there, in keeping with the theme of the film's title.  It maybe recalled that Mysskin had worked with Ilayaraja for his film Nandalala several years ago. 

by Rinku Gupta The shoot of Vijay Antony-s next film, Tamizharasan has begun in Chennai with none other than legendary Maestro Ilayaraja attending the puja of the film and giving the inaugural clap. Produced by SNS  Movies the film is directed by Babu Yogeswaran. RD Rajsekar cranks the camera. The film is special to director Mohan Raja as well. For it marks the screen debut of his young son master Pranav Mohan. The first shot of the film involving master Pranav in a scene with Vijay Antony was canned yesterday in the presence of Ilayaraja and industry veterans. An ecstatic Mohan Raja tweeted about the memorable moment and thanked Vijay Antony and all his well -wishers who congratulated him. Earlier his brother Jayam Ravi 's son Arav also had a small role in a movie  Tik Tik. Looks like renowned Editor Mohan's family is taking his cinematic legacy to the third generation as well.
