 Annabelle Sethupathy, directed by debutant Deepak Sunderajan stars Vijay Sethupathy, Taapsee, Radhika Sarathkumar,Yogi Babu, Jagapathi Babu and a host of actors. The period fantasy, horror comedy rovolves around a grand palace built by Veera Sethupathi Raja (Vijay Sethupathi) for his British lady love Annabelle (Taapsee). But due to the greed of another ruler ( Jagapathy Babu) who murders them, the palace lands up in ruins, as Veera's cook ( Yogi Babu) poisons the greedy raja and his entire family in revenge.  As a result, all of them end up being ghosts trapped inside the palace. Cut to modern times, where Rudra (Taapsee) and her family of con artists land up in the haunted palace due to a quirk of fate. Passion Studios Sudhan Sundaram and G. Jayaram's “Annabelle Sethupathi” starring Vijay Sethupathi and Taapsee Pannu   is all set for a worldwide premiere on Disney Plus Hotstar, from September 17 onwards. The film’s debut director Deepak Sundarrajan, is none other than the son of reputed filmmaker R Sunderajan.  The father-son duo addressed the press and media recently.  Director R Sunderajan got nostalgic as he recounted, “It’s been 40 years I embarked on my directorial journey in the film industry. I am happy to see the film critics, who reviewed movies I made during the early stages of career. I earnestly request the media and press to render the same support for my son Deepak. By Rinku Gupta YNOT studios' home invasion thriller Game Over   is directed by Ashwin Saravanan of Maya ( starring Nayanthara) fame, with Taapsee Pannu making a return to Tamil after a few years. The film revolves around a video games creator Sapna( Taapsee ) who suffers from phobia of the dark, apart from being affected by trauma symptoms when the anniversary of a past tragedy triggers subconscious memories. She even contemplates suicide. She lives alone with her maid Kala ( Vinodhini Vaidhyanathan) who helps her through this tough time. As if this was not enough, another series of events await her which pushes her nearer to the edge. Does she keel over? Or does she fight her demons and rise like a phoenix?
