Film Review: Trigger

 The Atharvaa-Tanya Ravichandran starrer Trigger hit the screens today.  The film is directed by Sam Anton and produced by Prateek Chakravarty and Shruti Nallappa. Atharvaa plays a cop, who is the son of an ex cop ( Arun Pandian) who has got Alzheimers. Due to a series of events,  Atharvaa lands up in another, secret division, probing the internal affairs of the force, trying to weed out the corrupt cops, with full access to their phones and other infrastructure, thanks to his boss ( Azhagan Perumal). Atharvaa works  as a team  with other agents (Muniskanth, Chinni Jayanth and others).  Tanya takes care of an orphanage and during a visit there with his family, events take a turn and Atharvaa  slowly uncovers a link to the mysterious reason why his father lost his job as a cop and thus unravels a sinister plot of child traficking. Film Review: Buffoon

 Buffoon' starring Vaibhav and Anagha in the lead, is a power-packed political action drama. Presented by director Karthik Subbaraj and produced by Kaarthekeyen Santhanam, Sudhan Sundharam and Jayaraman, the film is directed by Ashok Veerappan and released today, on Sep 23 rd in theatres. Vaibhav plays Kumaran, a drama artist in a village, who wants to explore better prospects in life much against the wishes of his father, who is  a respected veteran drama artist.  However, in his very first job as a lorry driver, he lands up in  a complicated situation when the container he drives is seized by police for drugs. Soon he and his friend realise that though they are innocent, they have been caught up in a dangerous battle between greedy politicos, drug suppliers and the police who want to implicate them in murder and drug trafficking. As the situation turns life threatening, Kumaran has to decide. Will he try to run away and escape to a safer haven or stay and fight back 

Makers announced the major Technical and Creative team of Naga Chaitanya - Venkat Prabhu's upcoming bilingual NC 22.

  Talented Actor Naga Chaitanya finally kickstarted his next project. The film has been tentatively titled NC22. NC22 will be Chaitanya’s first Telugu-Tamil bilingual film. This time he will be teaming up with affable filmmaker Venkat Prabhu and will be romancing with young and talented actress Krithi Shetty. It will also be director Venkat Prabhu’s first Telugu directorial. Srinivasaa Chitturi is producing the film in a prestigious manner on the Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner. Well, another great news is father-son duo Maestro, Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja and Little Maestro Yuvan Shankar Raja are all set to tune the songs for this movie. This is their first film together and a chartbuster album is assured in the combination. NC 22 seems to be one of the most expensive films in the career of the Akkineni hero. The makers recently announced that the filming will begin on September 21st, 2022. The shoot began yesterday, as planned, in extravagantly erected sets at Ramoji Film City
