One of the tie-ups was touted to be with Mundasapatti and now superhit Ratsasan fame director Ramkumar who had revealed he was fine- tuning a script for Dhanush. Now the official announcement has come with a puja by producers Sathyajyothi Films. The cast and crew will be announced shortly. The film is tentatively called Production No. 35.

Amala plays the lead as a forensic surgeon in a film, directed by Anoop Panicker and scripted by Abhilash Pillai. According to the team, this is the first  time a thriller based on forensic investigation featuring a protagonist as forensic surgeon is being made in the  Indian film industry. The film revolves around her  unique methods in  solving a mysterious crime. The film is apparently  based on a real life investigative case handled by former Kerala Police surgeon Dr. B Umadathan. Both Anoop Panicker and Abhilash Pillai had been involved in deep discussions of the story with her for nearly 6 months. Recently he even tweeted about the Superstar Rajinikanth appreciating his film. However, today the actor tweeted a rather sad news in the midst of all the joy. Announcing his official divorce with his wife Rajini, the actor broke the news on Twitter, revealing that the couple had been separated for a year now. The divorce now being official he requested privacy for the family and the couple who are parents to  a young son. We wish them all strength to carry on with this new phase in thier lives.
