The ace director has now even adapted to the present OTT scenario  with his Paava Kadhaigal catering to Gen Next, even as he continues to direct biggies on the big screen.  Joshua is one such film he is directing. Recently,  the team of the Varun starrer celebrated  the 20 years milestone of Menon with a function on sets. The Vels International production team along with hero Varun, hosted a special get together for Menon, to mark the momentous occasion giving Menon a pleasant surprise on sets. We wish the  ace director many more years of success in the industry!

 By Rinku Gupta Netflix today announced its first Tamil film, an anthology,   Paava Kadhaigal.  Directed by Gautham Menon, Sudha Kongara, Vetri Maaran and Vignesh Shivan ,  Paava Kadhaigal  explores how love, pride and honour influence complex relationships through four intricate and beautiful stories.    The anthology features a stellar ensemble cast, including Anjali, Bhavani Sre, Gautham Menon, Hari, Kalidas Jayaram, Kalki Koechlin, Padam Kumar, Prakash Raj, Sai Pallavi, Shanthnu Bhagyaraj and Simran, amongst others.   Gautham Menon said,  “Paava Kadhaigal is my first collaboration with Sudha (Kongara), Vetri (Maaran), and Vignesh (Shivan). To explore a complex, difficult theme in an authentic and honest manner alongside incredibly talented directors is a tremendous opportunity.
