Film Review : Fast X

Universal Pictures FAST X, the famous franchise started with The Fast & the Furious in 2001and now 9 sequels have so far been made. This 10th instalment is a sequel to F 9 (2021). Shot at locations in London, Rome, Turin, Lisbon and Los Angeles, this is the 8th most expensive film ever made. It is 20 years since the series started and it is still going strong.

Following this breathtaking action thriller, Fast X, 2 more films are in the pipeline. While the 11th instalment is expected to be out in 2025, work is underway for the 12th instalment which is believed to be the final film of this franchise.

Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his family have out-beaten almost all the enemies. While everything looks fine, trouble surfaces in the form of Dante (Jason Momoa of Aquaman fame) who wants to take revenge for the sake of his father, Hernan Reyes (Joaquim de Almedia from Fast 5 in 2011), a drug lord.

Having masterminded his plan of action, Dante’s ultimate target is to get Dominic’s 8 year old son (Leo Abelo Perry).

Be prepared to fasten your seat belts to witness some hard core action all through, which is relentlessly  racy all through.

The movie highlights the importance of family that binds together everything each character does, especially Dom.

The action blocks in Rome and the pre climax and climax scenes are rivetting.

Dont look for logic in this slick, fast -paced actioner, with grand visuals, emotional connect and a colorful villain that will never give up to unleash mayhem.

A good summer watch for lovers of mass action!
