Movie Review: Satham Indri Mutham Tha
Plot:
A young woman ( Priyanka Thimmesh)lands in hospital as she runs away from an attacker in her home, and gets hits by a car.
Cut to a hospital where a man called Raghu (Srikant) takes her to his house, after her operation and diagnosis of amnesia.
A dutiful cop ( Harish Peradi) who investigates the accident, is on the trail of Raghu to find out details of the accident.
Her life becomes complicated when she makes certain discoveries related to her past life, which she has forgotten.
Who is Raghu? Is he really her husband? What is the secret of her life that puts her in danger?
Review:
The film has an interesting plot with enough fodder for suspense and action. To this end, the director makes sure we get ample doses of both and kudos to him for that.
However, the making seems dated, with scenes and filming giving a feel of an 80's film.
The dialogues turn inadvertantly comical after a while when Peradi keeps talking in English, along with another character doing the same.
The climax scenes though, are interesting with kinky theme thrown into the plot. There is a seductive song with risqué lyrics and dance moves, which leads up to the crucial reveal.
Srikant has done a credible job as the man harbouring a secret and looks in totally fit form, lending further authenticity to the role and particularly in the stunt scenes.
Priyanka has delivered a good performance as the girl living in confusion and fear.
The supporting cast too does a fine job. With good visuals and sound music the film in its kitty, a bit more attention to staging of scenes and sharper edits and better dialogues could have made the film a tad more contemporary. On the whole an interesting effort by a talented team, with an interesting story and good performances.

இவர் லாஸ் ஏஞ்சல்ஸ் உலகத் திரைப்பட விழாவில் பத்து விருதுகளுக்கு மேல் பெற்றவர் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
அதோடு ஆனந்த விகடன் மற்றும் சாவி இதழ்களில் சிறுகதைகள் எழுதியுள்ளார். மேலும் அவர் அமெரிக்காவில் நடைபெற்ற திரைக்கதை போட்டியில் அனைத்து நாடுகளும் கலந்து கொண்ட நிலையில் இந்தியாவிலிருந்து தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட இரண்டு கதைகளான ‘KISS DEATH மற்றும் A STRANGER IS WALKING BY’ஆகியவற்றிற்கு சொந்தக்காரர் ஆவார்.
