Maanadu First Single release Postponed!

The much awaited first single from Silambarasan's Maanadu was to release on Ramzan day. But now producer Suresh Kamatchi has confirmed that the release date has been postponed.
Maanadu director Venkat Prabhu's mother Manimegalai Gangai Amaran, passed away recently after a brief illness. The grief stricken director and indeed the whole Maanadu team are in shock and in a state of mourning due to the bereavement.
Therefore the producer, has decided to postpone the release of the film's first single to a later date as a mark of respect to the departed.
Suresh Kamatchi tweeted, " நம் இஸ்லாமிய உறவுகள் கொண்டாடும் ரம்ஜான் தினத்தன்று வெளியிடுவதாக இருந்த நமது#மாநாடு படத்தின் first single நமது இயக்குநர் வெங்கட் பிரபு அவர்களின் தாயார் மறைவின் வருத்தத்தில் பங்கு கொள்ளும் பொருட்டு இன்னும் சில நாட்கள் தள்ளி வெளியாக உள்ளது என்பதை வருத்தமுடன் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன்."
Announcing the postponement, he also added that everyone should also be careful in the current covid scenario, "இன்னொரு தேதியில் first'sigle வெளியிடுவோம். அதற்கான அறிவிப்பை விரைவில் தெரிவிப்போம். நண்பர்களின் துக்கத்தில் பங்குகொள்வோம்.
