The project also stars actors Rohini, Ammu Abirami, Mayilsami among others. Producer S. Lakshman Kumar of Prince Pictures,  who is  currently producing Karthi starrer ‘Sardar’ is bankrolling this new film which is  written and directed by Ram Sangaiah. The film presents Pasupathi, who is known for selecting  unique scripts, in a commercial blend of humour and action. The actor is riding high on the success of Sarpatta Parambarai and memes of  Rangan ' Vaathiyar' with Kabilan aka Arya, have taken the Net by storm.  Details of shooting and  other cast and crew  shall be revealed soon.

Zee5 announced today that the much-awaited Santhanam-starrer Dikkiloona would be its next release. The laugh riot, which has been directed by debut director Karthik Yogi and which has been jointly produced by KJR Studios and Soldiers' Factory, will feature Santhanam in three different roles.  Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh has also played an important role. A whopping 15 million people watched the trailer as soon as it released, earning it the distinction of being the most watched trailer among all of Santhanam's films. Talking about the film, director Karthik Yogi says, "Dikkiloona is a sci-fi fantasy entertainer that revolves around the concept of time travel. Santhanam plays  a character that is forced to travel to the future to stop his wedding. Does he succeed in stopping it is what the film is all about."  The title motion poster of 'Yuki' starring Kathir, Narain, and Natty has been unveiled by the makers. The film is a thriller made in Tamil and Malayalam. While Narain is in both languages, Kathir and Natty are replaced by Joju George and Sharaf U Deen. Yuki is directed by debutant director Zac Hariss. Juvis Productions, the banner of the super hit films Forensic and Kala, associates with UAN Film House and AAAR Productions for this movie. Yuki also features Pavithra Lakshmi, Kayal Anandhi, and Athmiya Rajan in the lead roles. The film has several prominent South Indian actors- Pratap Pothen, John Vijay, Munish Kant, Sinil Sainudeen, Vinodini, Anjali Rao, and Bindu Sanjeev in  prominent roles.  The bilingual film was shot in Chennai and Pondicherry. Pakiyaraj Ramalingam scripts the film, and the cinematography is by Pushparaj Santosh. Ranjin Raj composes the music, whereas Don Vincent composes the background music.

The psycho thriller is based on the Korean film Blind. Durga ( Nayanthara), loses her job as a CBI officer and her brother Adithya as well as her eyesight all in one ill -fated night due to a car accident. But she learns Braille, gets a trained dog and learns the ropes of managing her new situation, even as she waits for an eye donor to regain her vision. A chance encounter with a psycho killer James Dinas (Ajmal), turns her life upside. Now she has only one mission. Despite her disability, she vows to her bring the villain to justice. In this she is aided by a cop ( Manikandan) and a young boy ( Saran Shakthi ). How she does so and and at what cost,  forms the story.  Its a Lady Superstar show all the way and Nayanthara just carries the film on her shoulders, with her screen presence and superb performance as a spirit...

The 2002 movie was special for Priyanka Chopra for another reason as well. It also marked her singing debut, with the Tamil song Ullathey Killathe.  Thr film was directed by A Majid and produced by Mani Ratnam's brother G Venkateswaran for GV Films.   Actress Akshara Gowda, seems all set to score big this year.
