Director Sarjun - of Airaa, and contentious short films like Maa and Lakshmi fame has also penned the story and dialogues for the film starring Kalaiarasan and Mirnaa in lead roles.  The story revolves around a young man who meets a girl living in solitude during an atypical situation.  Their interactions and unexpected eventualities form the crux of the story.

  Nivin Pauly starrer Kanakam Kaamini Kalaham to be the first Malayalam movie to have  World Premiere on Disney + Hotstar Disney+ Hotstar, one of India's largest premium streaming platforms is all set to kickstart its Malayalam movie releases. Kanakam Kaamini Kalaham (Ka Kaa Ka), written and directed by Ratheesh Balakrishna Pothuval and starring Nivin Pauly, Grace Antony and Vinay Fort in the lead roles, is the first Malayalam film to be released through the platform. The Film is produced by Nivin Pauly’s production house, Pauly Jr. Pictures. Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara of Rowdy Pictures have  much-awaited movies  including the award-winning Koozhangal and raw-n-hard-hitting ‘Rocky’  all set for release shortly. Now the  production house has launched its new project titled Oor Kuruvi. While Koozhangal is a melodrama and Rocky is a crime-thriller, Rowdy Pictures is all set to surprise with a full-length comedy-drama.
