Actor  Namitha was all smiles and emotion filled as Veera tied the thaali at a wedding  ceremony today on the morning of 24th November. The function began with a traditional puja at 5am at the ISCKON  temple at Tirupathi and the sacred thaali  was tied at 6 30 am in the presence of close family and friends. Namitha was resplendant in a blue sari and later in a beautiful pink-red golden- hued silk sari, replete with traditional jewellery. Around 10 family members of the bride flew down from Mumbai for the ceremony. Veera was accompanied by over 40 of his family members. The couple were blessed by Sarathkumar and Radhikaa, close friends of Namitha. Apparently Namitha wanted to keep it simple and share this momentous occasion with few close friends. The 2 heroines, Vikram Vedha girl Shraddha Srinath and Lakshmi Priya Chandramouli were seen exchanging warm pleasantaries. Nivin Pauly lit the kuthuvilakku and was seen in the company of  the supporting actors G K Reddy ( actor Vishal's father), Tulasi and Murgados. Natraj Subramaniam the other hero in the film was not present. In his speech Nivin said he was looking forward to his stint in Tamil cinema. " Though I acted in Neram earlier it was  a Malyalam-Tamil bi lingual. Richie is my first straight Tamil film,"he said. The film will release  on Dec 8th. ...........

On his birthday, 7 nov 2017, Kamal Haasan  made an announcement relating to his  entry into the political scene.  He revealed that he will be launching a mobile App called  #MaiamWhistle,  which would help the public to participate in the fight against corruption by whistleblowing, thereby contributing towards nation  building at large. The app is currently in beta testing stage he revealed.. He  is happy to be working again with Allu Arjun after their previous outing, Duvvada Jagannadham (DJ). Says Harish, “NPS will be my 11 th film in Telugu. Actor Ganesh Venkatram admits that life has completely changed post his participation in Vijay TV’s  reality show, Bigg Boss, in Tamil, this year. “Where ever I go, I get mobbed! The love the people are showing for me has left me speechless and humbled. I never expected this kind of a reaction. Even after Thani Oruvan I have been mobbed. But the scale of the adulation after Bigg Boss is overwhelming !” says the tall and handsome actor.
